I don't want to argue with you man, because first of all I totally see where you are coming from (we just happen to have different opinions on this).

But you have a personal friendship with the band you think are most deserving, so what makes your vote stand out more than the votes of possible friends of another band?

The difference here is maybe that you weren't emailed about it and asked to vote, but if you had of been would you have not done it out of principle?

I can see your qualm about it shouldn't be who has the most friends, but I don't see a more fair way of doing this. And genuinely when I run something like this again (which I do intend to do) I would love to know how I could do it better.

anyway, RS deserves this because they are doing exactly what you're trying to do with thsi contest. they've been at this metal thing for a long time, and are just trying to further it. i felt like the other bands had a bunch of their buddies weigh in and vote just for voting. i've been a member of this forum from the beginning and have a band of my own, but don't feel like i or anyone else deserve it like RS does. that's it.

It really wouldn't be hard for any one of the other bands to get 20 odd votes by tomorrow.

It would appear Wrath Passion made one slight bit of effort more than the others and in my eyes is a deserving potential winner.
