Trusted Mailorder / Distros

Everyone and their mother in this age of MySpace and social networking has opened up a distro, and it can be a real shit deciding which ones you can trust or not.  Here I intend to catalogue my experiences with the few I have had dealings with.

Name : Superfi Records
Website : http://www.superfirecords.co.uk/
BornInBlood Link : http://www.borninblood.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6316
What I ordered:

  1. The Afternoon Gentlemen – White Cider Chronicles
  2. Bong Ripper – Hate Ashbury
  3. De Novissimis / Tunguska Split
  4. El Bastardo / Slomatics Split
  5. From the Ashes – Heading for Dystopia

Ordered on the 17th Jan, here on 21st Jan.

Can’t fault the chat throughout, packaging, quality of the product, price or the time frame.  My only beef is that their catalogue is a bit hard to navigate online.  I would easily recommend.

Name : At War With False Noise
Website : http://atwarwithfalsenoise.com/
What I ordered:

  1. ATWAR046 PERSISTENCE IN MOURNING – The Undead Shall Rise LP
  2. ATWAR036 BLACK SUN – Paralyser LP

Ordered on the 21st Jan, here on 26th Jan.

AWAFN is a label and a distro, and whilst I had no reason to not order from them before, the only reason I did was because I think it is the only place you can get PiM’s The Undead Shall Rise.  I am glad I ordered from there though because not only do they have some amazing doom on display the owner seems like a nice bloke to deal with and everything went smoothly, you have to email to confirm the order before placing it but it is a small inconvenience (and gives you peace of mind anyway).
